Good hygrometry is essential for the tightness of the corks

Respect for well-defined hygrometric conditions is an essential factor for good wine conservation. Too low humidity causes the corks to dry out, which can make the wine cry, while too saturated air deteriorates the labels and causes corking and moldiness in the wine.

The ideal hygrometry rate is between 60 and 80% to avoid the drying out of the corks and, as a consequence, the irremediable oxidation of the wine.
EuroCave cabinets are equipped with SRA (Stone Relief Aluminum) aluminum walls with high thermal conductivity. The natural humidity contained in the air is deposited on the roughness of the walls and is distributed throughout the cabinet in a homogeneous manner.
